First launch in 1966, Bell-Matic is the ONLY mechanical alarm watch that Seiko has produced and it is an exciting part of the brand's history. The watch we offer is a rare reference of Bell-Matic line, a black dial the 4006-7012.
Inside the watch, it houses many technological achievement and complications. Day-Date complication, a mechanical drive alarm mechanism, two springs powering the watch's timing function and alarm functions, and an automatic self-winding mechanism for the timing function.
Seiko's Grammer of Design can be easily found on the flat surface of the case and the watch lug. These features giving it as much visual impact as a Grand or King Seiko.
The black sunburst dial with the hour marker and hands highlighted in polished steel is considered as a special variance in the product line. The dial reminds us of the remarkable 45King Seiko in the same era. Making this watch beautiful and functional.
The alarm function is indicated by the red triangle on the outside chapter ring, it makes the mark simple yet not interrupting the design elements of the watch.
