Brief background of King Seiko

 Brief background of King Seiko

From the early generation, the King Seiko with thin sword hands, thin shells and narrow ears, and flat time scales have begun to distinguish from Grand Seiko, and the style of King Seiko is closer to ordinary Seiko.

In 1966, Grand Seiko and King Seiko began to interoperate with movements, and the different movements produced by the two factories will be marked on their own.

In 1976, after Switzerland was tortured by quartz, Japan's mechanical watches also began to decline, and Grand Seiko and King Seiko officially announced the suspension of production.

And the King Seiko we see today are basically the models that Seiko reopened the production line after 2001.
