This is something special, a pure collectible, or a gateway for you to look back to the good old days in the 1970s of Japan.
Seiko Skyliner started its production in mid-60s and is a mid-range model that targeted young middle management of companies who demand a dressy and clean looking watch. With its relatively short production time of 10 years, it is collectable as the style is modern and minimalist even in today's standard. We can find early trace of Seiko's design language in the Seiko Skyline series watch including the mirror-finished sword hand and multi-dimensional mirror-finished watchcase. The overall design is a timeless classic in the dress watch category.

This Seiko Skyliner 6220 6030 comes with a unique special story that added value to the watch and explain why the previous owner of the Skyliner treasure the watch so much. Flipping the watch to the caseback, you will see the caseback engraved with Showa 42 award from the agriculture minister. After checking history of the award, it is found that only people with excellent achievement in the agricultural sector will be awared with the award. I am sure the watch mean a lot to the last owner. And the Seiko Skyliner, have done a perfect role as a vintage watch to carry and pass along the history to the generations to come.

From the condition of the Seiko Skyliner, we know that it is well preserved and is close to a new old stock after its years of history. We are glad that this is in our hands and we are dedicated to helping it find the next owner who will love the watch and its history as much as we do.

This is truly a special one, its rare that you can tell this much about the history behind one vintage watch when you hold it on hand.
